The  Bailout Watch project participants value your privacy.  This Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information received about you when you visit Bailout Watch or register to post comments or submit FOIA requests and responses.

This site contains many links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and recommend you read their privacy policies for further information.

General. When you use certain features of this site, we may collect personally identifiable information from you that may include your name and email address. We do not, however, knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Web Site Usage Information. We automatically collect IP addresses and Web site usage information from you when you visit our Web site. This information helps us evaluate how our visitors use and navigate our Web sites on an aggregate basis, including the number and frequency of visitors to each Web page, and the length of their visits.

Registration. The site is free but we require registration by anyone who wishes to comment about articles on the site or about other comments posted on the site.  We only collect and store your email address for login purposes and to prevent spam. We do not sell, rent, share or distribute your email address in any way. We will never display your email address on the site. Your name and other information you submit may be displayed in your user profile or elsewhere on the site, so please only enter what you are comfortable sharing on this site.

You can remove yourself from our  user list at any time by contacting [email protected] with your email address and request.

Like most other Web sites, ours may place cookies on your computer. They do things like save your registration information, if you choose to register. They do not tell us what you do or where you go online.


When we make any material change to this Privacy Policy, we will inform you by changing the date on this page noting when the policy was last updated.
